This Food Allergen Training Course is divided into six lessons. Throughout these lessons, we keep you engaged and help you retain what you’ve learned with:

At the end of each lesson, there is a quiz. You must score 75% on each quiz to unlock the next part of the course. You have unlimited attempts to do so. Once you've completed all the lessons and quizzes, you have completed the course.
You can access our training courses on any internet-enabled device. An internet-enabled device includes computers, tablets or mobile devices.

Yes, the Food Allergen Training Program is 100% online and accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
There's no need to visit any classrooms or exam centres when you complete a CIFS course.
How long does CIFS Food Allergen Training take to complete?
Most students complete the CIFS Food Allergen Training in just one to two hours, but you have up to 30 days to complete it.
After you finish the course, you can go back and check information or resources at any time, within 30 days from the date of enrolment.

Is there a final exam?
While many courses do have final exams, the CIFS Allergen Training does not have one. For your convenience, this course is designed with end-of-lesson quizzes to check your knowledge along the way.
At the end of each lesson, you’ll complete a multiple-choice quiz. Once all lessons and quizzes are complete, you have finished the course and you can obtain your Certificate of Completion.
What skills do I need to complete the course?
The course content is delivered via an automated slide pack, audio narration and course handouts. This allows for us to accommodate students that prefer to learn by reading, listening or watching.
Computer skills
This is an online course; a basic level of computer literacy is required.
You will be required to log in to the course and navigate through the lessons on the online course page. You’ll also receive some information via email so you’ll need to be familiar with the use of your preferred email system.
You will also need to download the PDF resources on the course page – this will require the use of Adobe Reader or similar (installed on most computers).
